Styles also unveiled the song list for his upcoming album on Friday, Jan. 23.

After a four-year gap between releases, Harry Styles has officially returned — and his new music video is as surreal as it is mesmerizing.
The British artist debuted the video for his lead single, “Aperture,” on Friday, Jan. 23, offering fans a striking introduction to his latest creative chapter. The visual, which unfolds like a dream sequence, was directed by Aube Perrie, who previously collaborated with Styles on the videos for “Satellite” and “Music for a Sushi Restaurant.”
At the start of the video, the 31-year-old singer is shown carrying out ordinary routines inside a hotel room. The tone quickly shifts once he steps outside and notices a mysterious figure wearing sunglasses trailing behind him. After an intense stare-down, the stranger suddenly gives chase, leading both men to tumble down a long staircase. They recover and break into a physical confrontation.
Midway through the song, the storyline veers into the unexpected. Styles runs toward the man again, but instead of another clash, the two lift into a Dirty Dancing-style move. What follows is a synchronized dance sequence complete with flips as they move through a hallway together.
By the video’s conclusion, Styles finds himself back in his hotel room, alone — as if the bizarre encounter never happened.
“Aperture,” released on Thursday, Jan. 22, marks Styles’ first single in nearly three years. The track will appear on his upcoming album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
Lyrically, the song uses photography imagery to explore vulnerability and connection. “Aperture lets the light in,” he sings, referencing the camera mechanism that determines exposure, brightness, and depth. The chorus reinforces the theme with the line, “We belong together, it finally appears it’s only love.”
Beyond the new music, Styles also announced a seven-city residency titled Together, Together. Running from May through December, the tour will span 50 performances across Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne, and Sydney.
Notably, the Fine Line artist is scheduled to play 30 shows at Madison Square Garden — his sole U.S. dates — along with a six-night engagement at London’s Wembley Stadium.
