The pop singer gives PEOPLE an inside look at her getting-ready routine for her worldwide Addison Tour, created in partnership with Armani Beauty.
Addison Rae has been embracing her most authentic self.
The 25-year-old pop artist kicked off her first-ever tour in August to promote her debut album Addison, performing tracks like “Diet Pepsi,” “Headphones On,” and more throughout Europe, North America, and now Australia. At every stop, she’s brought something fresh to the stage — especially when it comes to her glam.
“My glam changes constantly when I’m on tour,” the TikTok-creator-turned-singer tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Sometimes I’m all about piling on the sparkle, and other nights I stick to just lips and cheeks.”
Fresh off her first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, Rae relies on her favorite Armani Beauty essentials to get performance-ready. Fans who follow her TikTok content know she keeps these items within arm’s reach backstage.
For her base, Rae uses the Luminous Silk Foundation and matching concealer in shade 5.25, applying them lightly with a beauty blender. Her signature flushed look comes from blending Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in Delicate Mauve — a soft rosy shade — and Magnetic Mauve — a brighter pink — onto both her cheeks and lips. To finish things off, she adds Eye Tint Long-Lasting Liquid Shadow in a khaki tone and tops it with the Vertigo Lift Mascara.
As for her tour wardrobe — which has ranged from tutu-inspired gowns and latex lingerie to sparkling showgirl-style sets — Rae says she enjoys crafting a narrative while keeping things unpredictable. “I love mixing pieces together and making each night feel unique,” she shares.
“I follow whatever creative spark hits me, even if I don’t know where it’s going to lead. It might come from a color, a piece of fabric, or just a vibe. My fashion even influences my music,” she adds. “Clothes can totally shift your mindset. If I’m not feeling my best, I’ll dress more glam or more feminine to help me tap into that confidence. Other times, I just go with whatever feels comfortable or matches my mood.”
Rae also leans on a few grounding rituals before and after performing. Right before stepping onstage, she likes to do a sound bath, stretch, and sip an espresso tonic — not Diet Pepsi, surprisingly enough. After the show, her routine couldn’t be simpler: “eat, sleep,” then do it all again.
