She started voicing commercials and became a producer for New Talk 94.5. After that, it only took her 4 months and she started her first show on Big Country 103.9. Learning the radio business along the way, she worked her way to her ultimate goal, The Mix Morning Show. Her first show debuted at the beginning of March 2013. Growing up in Elko, NV, she likes to take her sarcasm, and weird/fun outlook on life, and help wake people up each and every morning in a bright way. Now the afternoon DJ for Kool 94.5FM, she's happy to bring that smile to anyone listening. She has won silver for “Best Radio DJ” in the Elko's Readers' Choice Awards from 2013 to 2018. Winning gold starting in 2018-present. Also took home “Artist of the Year” in the 2017 Mayor's Art Awards for her work on air and in the community. Sandy was also a chosen artist during the downtown Boot Mural project in 2017. Her piece can be seen in the front of the Elko County Library, painting for PACE Coalition. Sandy believes and full-heartedly loves all forms of art. Performance art is a favorite. Along with her radio shows, she is also the VP of the non-profit theatre company “Ghost Light Productions.” On the side, she is a single mom to her son whom she lovingly calls “Bug” and loves him more than anything.

As one of the most recognizable and trusted voices in media today, Seacrest is the host and producer of the #1 Los Angeles morning drive-time show for iHeartMedia’s 102.7 KIIS-FM, the nationally syndicated “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” “American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest,” and the weekday vignette “Direct from Hollywood.” For his work in radio, he was honored with the 2011 NAB Marconi Award for “Network Syndicated Personality of the Year,” and he was inducted in the prestigious Radio Hall of Fame in 2019. From the beginning of his radio career during the age of AM radio and vinyl, to the surge of FM and the birth of CD’s (and beyond), Jamie’s successful time on-the-air has spanned varying genres of music, crossed multiple state lines, and many international borders. Jamie is a dad to an amazing teenager, loves to cook, garden, paint, play golf, travel and has spent time working on his pilot's license. (I’m a Cornhusker, and lived in Austin for five years too, and have a special place in my heart for the Longhorns.) I’ve been on a hundred stations at one point or another during my career, and I just love radio and hanging out with awesome people like you every day. Other things I love….let’s see. Avocados and quinoa and kale, and I try to eat healthy overall. I’m making an effort now to go gluten-free, which ain’t easy because I love crackers. A lot! But I’m finding some gluten-free ones now. You’ll probably hear me talk about my daughters on the air. They’re all six or under and they exhaust me, crack me up, and amaze me because I don’t think I was ever as smart as they already are. We have one miniature schnauzer named Harry, and he puts up with a LOT having three human sisters. The middle kid puts a leash on him inside the house and walks him around. He’s such a good boy to tolerate us. I’ve been single for about a year, and I’ve turned into quite the online dater. I’m still convinced Mr. Right is just a click away! I’ll share some of the doozies on the air from time to time and I’d love to hear your crazy dating stories. I love to shop, dream, and listen to good music. Life is good.
