Ariana Grande Hints at a Special Connection to Eternal Sunshine That She Plans to Share Someday

The Wicked star previously announced that she has no plans to tour in 2025.
Ariana Grande hinted at plans to share some sunshine in the future.
Speaking to Access Hollywood ahead of the Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 5, the Wicked star opened up about her connection to her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine when asked if she was working on new music.
“It’s not something I’m focused on right now,” the 31-year-old explained in a clip shared on X. “But there’s something I created last year that will eventually be released. It’s an attachment to Eternal Sunshine. So, it’s out there, and it will make its way out someday.”
She added, “But no, I’m not currently in the studio.”
“I’m so appreciative of [my fans’] understanding and the way we’ve grown together throughout this journey with Wicked,” the thank u, next singer shared, adding that music will always remain a part of her life. She humorously noted, “For now, I’ll be performing at my mom’s house.”
Following the release of her seventh studio album, Grande dedicated much of 2024 to promoting Wicked, which premiered in November and is now available for streaming. The sequel, Wicked: For Good, is set to hit theaters in November 2025.
Grande received a nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role at the Golden Globes for her portrayal of Glinda in Wicked. However, the award went to Zoe Saldaña for her role in Emilia Perez.
