Sabrina Carpenter continues to make a strong impression—”five feet, to be exact”—on Barry Keoghan despite ongoing breakup rumors.
After the “Taste” singer, 25, surprised fans with her new song “Busy Woman” on Thursday, August 29, as a thank-you for their support of her recent Short n’ Sweet album, the Saltburn actor cheered her on via Instagram.
“Let’s f—in go!! 🔥🥵,” Keoghan, 31, commented on her post. He also took to his Instagram Stories to share his favorite track from her new album, revealing, “‘Bed Chem’ is my fave, just sayin’ m’darlin @sabrinacarpenter.”
This online exchange occurred just 10 days after a source exclusively told PEOPLE on August 19 that Carpenter and Keoghan’s relationship is “on and off.” A few days earlier, on August 16, Keoghan seemingly responded to the breakup rumors by liking the “Espresso” singer’s flirty Instagram post, which featured her in baby blue lingerie.
The pair first sparked romance rumors in December 2023 after being seen together on a dinner date in Los Angeles, just three months after their initial meeting at Paris Fashion Week in September.
By June, their relationship appeared to be going strong, with Keoghan even making an appearance in Carpenter’s steamy “Please Please Please” music video. In the video, she handcuffs him to a chair, tapes his mouth shut, and gives him a lipstick-filled kiss, with the tape keeping their lips from touching.
The video played a key role in pushing “Please Please Please” to the top of Billboard’s Hot 100, marking Carpenter’s first No. 1 hit.
