The star of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ posted fresh snapshots on Instagram during the weekend.
Selena Gomez is relishing the outdoor experience! On Saturday, the 31-year-old star of Only Murders in the Building posted three radiant selfies on Instagram, capturing moments of enjoying nature and basking in the sunlight on an outdoor deck. In the images, Gomez sported a comfortable plaid top and opted for a minimal makeup look while seated on a balcony enveloped by lush green surroundings.
“🌍,” she captioned the images.
Gomez’s nature-inspired pictures garnered affectionate responses in the comments, with a sweet reaction from her boyfriend Benny Blanco: three heart-eye emojis.
The 31-year-old actress and the accomplished 35-year-old producer, whom she has previously referred to as “the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” have been romantically linked since December 2023, a relationship Gomez confirmed at the time.
Ashley Park, Mariska Hargitay, and makeup artist Hung Vanngo also praised Gomez’s recent photos. Park affectionately referred to her friend as “Sweetie ❤️.”
During the weekend, Gomez shared a throwback picture with Steve Martin on her Instagram Story. Additionally, she posted two other images showcasing her wearing a breathtaking black Maison Valentino gown from her attendance at the Academy Museum Gala in December.
Earlier this week, the “Single Soon” singer opened up about her body image, sharing a series of Instagram Stories featuring photos of her body throughout the years. Captioning one image of herself in a zebra bikini from years ago, she expressed, “Today I realized I will never look like this again,” before sharing a more recent bathing suit picture.
“I’m not perfect, but I am proud to be who I am… Sometimes I forget it’s ok to be me,” she wrote.
In addition to her personal revelations, Gomez shared significant career news on Instagram recently, announcing her role as music legend Linda Ronstadt in an upcoming biopic. Posting a screenshot of a Deadline story confirming the news, she expressed her excitement, saying, “I have no words to describe my heart for this project … years of hoping this dream would become my reality.”
Accompanied by a black-and-white image of Ronstadt, 77, Gomez added, “Love your heart and soul for life and music.”
Reports indicate that the film will be produced by Great Eastern Music founder John Boylan and James Keach, with David O. Russell directing. An announcement on the Great Eastern website’s “Projects” page stated, “The long-rumored Linda Ronstadt biopic is now up-and-running. Selena Gomez is attached to play Linda. The two recently spent a few hours at Linda’s home discussing the project and getting to know each other.”
