“I never heard from him again. Not once. I was in complete disbelief,” the singer shared while recounting her “crazy” ghosting experience.

Even Billie Eilish has her share of dating nightmares.

During her appearance on the latest episode of the BBC podcast “Miss Me?”, the 22-year-old singer told hosts Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver that she has “definitely been ghosted.”

“Actually, I experienced a crazy ghosting this past December. It was insane,” said Eilish, who has previously been linked with rapper Brandon “Q” Adams, actor Matthew Tyler Vorce, and The Neighbourhood’s frontman Jesse Rutherford.

“It was probably the wildest ghosting I’ve ever encountered,” the “What Was I Made For?” singer told Allen, 39, and Oliver, 40.

“I was like, ‘Did you die? Did you literally die?’ ” Eilish joked, explaining further: “It was someone I’d known for years. We had made plans, confirmed everything on the phone that day, I gave my address and told him to be there at 3 — and then I never heard from him again. Ever. I couldn’t believe it.”

“I thought to myself, ‘What a pathetic, tiny little man,’ ” the Oscar-winning singer continued, adding: “It was completely unbelievable. To this day, he has never texted me back.”

“I did see that he started dating someone else,” Eilish shared with the hosts. “And I was like, ‘Oh.’ I genuinely didn’t realize people still did that.”

Eilish’s remarks come after she mentioned to Rolling Stone in an unpublished excerpt from her recent cover story that she remains on good terms with her rocker ex-boyfriend, Jesse Rutherford, 32.

“He’s truly one of my favorite people in the world,” she told the magazine. “That’s my guy.”

Eilish’s representative confirmed her breakup with Rutherford to PEOPLE in May 2023. The former couple, who were last seen together at Coachella in April 2023, dated for less than a year before announcing their separation.

In her Rolling Stone interview, Eilish joked about swearing off relationships. “I plan on never dating again,” she quipped.

“That’s not true, obviously. But no, I don’t see myself being serious with anyone until I find someone that really feels right to me, and that is not interesting to me right now,” Eilish clarified.

In the candid interview, Eilish also discussed coming to terms with her sexuality and her initial plans to keep that aspect of her life private.

Reflecting on the sexual nature of her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” album track “Lunch,” Eilish explained, “That song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real.” She added, “I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after.”

“I’ve been in love with girls my whole life, but I just didn’t understand it — until last year, when I realized I wanted my face in a vagina,” she continued.
