In a recent interview with Backstage, the singer-actress joked that she wouldn’t even consider making a film about her own life in the first place.

Ariana Grande says fans shouldn’t count on seeing a traditional movie about her life anytime soon — unless it’s something very unusual.

In a recent interview with Backstage, the 32-year-old singer and actress explained why she isn’t interested in having a biopic made about her, while playfully imagining what it could look like.

She joked that if a film about her life were ever created, she wouldn’t actually want it to happen at all. According to her, she’d title it “Scrap This and Don’t Watch It,” because the idea of a biographical movie about herself doesn’t appeal to her.

Grande also humorously suggested that, if it did exist, she wouldn’t want a human actor to portray her. Instead, she said she’d prefer a tiny mouse with subtitles, imagining a short, charming film where small mice reenact moments from her life with captions throughout — the only version she finds entertaining.

Looking ahead, Grande has several acting projects in the works, including Focker In-Law and an animated adaptation of Oh, the Places You’ll Go!. She’s also preparing for her Eternal Sunshine Tour, scheduled to run from June through December.

During the interview, she described this phase of her career as fluid and driven by curiosity, saying it feels constantly evolving. She added that she feels fortunate to be able to follow creative instincts and explore wherever they lead.

Grande also shared how she decides which acting roles to accept. She explained that she’s drawn to projects that push her outside her comfort zone, excite her creatively, and allow her to contribute something meaningful while continuing to grow as a performer.
