The visual begins backstage inside a theater, where a marquee announces the production: “The Time of My Life Starring Benson Boone & Alix Earle.” Before the show begins, the two sit together in a dressing room, where Earle checks on Boone and asks whether he is doing alright. She also wonders if the person he hopes to see is among the audience members attending their performance.
Once the song starts, Boone takes the stage as a classic village-style setting appears around him. Earle later joins him, and the two share a meaningful glance, though Boone remains focused on finding the special person he is waiting for in the crowd.
