In a statement released on March 24, Roan’s spokesperson emphasized that the singer has a strict stance against any aggressive behavior toward fans. They clarified that Roan was unaware of any interaction between a mother and child and a security staff member, adding that she did not see them at her hotel breakfast and did not instruct anyone on her team to approach them. The rep also stressed that Roan expects professionalism from her team and does not tolerate hostile conduct toward fans.
The situation stems from Jorginho’s claims on March 21, when he alleged that a security guard—supposedly linked to Roan—approached his 11-year-old daughter in a confrontational way while they were dining at the same hotel in São Paulo. According to him, his daughter had simply recognized the singer and walked past her table without interacting, but was later accused of being disrespectful or harassing. He said the encounter left his daughter upset and in tears.
Roan later responded via social media, sharing her perspective and denying any involvement. She explained that she did not notice the mother and child, nor did she ask any security personnel to speak with them. She also expressed sympathy, apologizing if the situation made them uncomfortable and stating that they did not deserve such treatment.
Jorginho, however, criticized the situation publicly, saying it was disappointing to see a fan—especially a child—treated that way. He highlighted the importance of fans to an artist’s success and called for reflection.
The incident has drawn attention amid Roan’s ongoing discussions about maintaining boundaries with fans and dealing with public interactions.
