Tate McRae’s “Housewife” Holds No. 1 on Billboard’s Global Charts

By Riley Cruz

Tate McRae’s “Housewife” is keeping its spot at the top.

According to Billboard Canada, the song has added a second week at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. That means “Housewife” is not just having a big debut moment. It is holding strong for another week.

For fans who have had this one on repeat, the chart news is a pretty clear sign that a lot of listeners around the world are doing the same.

“Housewife” stays on top after a No. 1 debut

“Housewife” debuted at No. 1 on both Billboard global charts the previous week, according to Billboard Canada, and now it has remained there for a second week.

That kind of hold matters because the first week of a song can be powered by curiosity, release-day energy and longtime fans showing up right away. A second week at No. 1 shows the track is continuing to travel beyond that first burst.

For the Oct. 23-29 tracking week, “Housewife” earned 64.1 million streams globally, according to Luminate figures cited by Billboard Canada. The song also sold 3,000 copies globally during that same tracking week.

On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, “Housewife” totaled 44.2 million streams outside the U.S. during the Oct. 23-29 tracking week.

Another global No. 1 for Tate McRae

This is also a familiar chart milestone for McRae. Billboard Canada reports that “Housewife” is her second No. 1 on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, following “Greedy.”

That is a fun piece of context for anyone who has been following her rise. “Greedy” already put McRae at the top of both global rankings, and “Housewife” now shows she can return there with a new song.

The Global 200 reflects worldwide activity, while Global Excl. U.S. focuses on performance outside the United States. So when a song leads both, it points to broad interest across different listening markets.

When the charts update

Billboard Canada noted that the charts dated Nov. 7, 2026 were set to update on Billboard.com on Nov. 3, 2026.

For listeners, the takeaway is simple: “Housewife” is still sitting at No. 1 globally, and Tate McRae has another major chart moment to add to her growing run.
