Zayn Malik Responds to Viral Crowd Confrontation Video, Says Situation Felt ‘Unsafe and Unacceptable’

Zayn Malik was caught on video telling bystanders to “get the f— out of the way” of his vehicle while leaving a hotel in Manchester, later explaining that the situation felt unsafe and crossed the line.

Zayn Malik is speaking out after a recent confrontation outside a hotel, clarifying that the people involved were not genuine fans.

The 33-year-old singer appeared in a TMZ video telling a crowd to “get the f— out of the way” while trying to leave his hotel and enter a waiting car in Manchester. However, Malik later explained in an Instagram comment that the situation involved several adult men blocking both the hotel entrance and his vehicle for nearly 10 minutes, preventing him and his security team from leaving safely.

According to Malik, his actual supporters remained respectful throughout the encounter. He claimed the individuals causing the disruption were “stalkers” attempting to create content for social media, adding that the behavior was “not safe and not okay” and unfair to genuine fans.

Footage from the incident also captured a member of Malik’s team asking the crowd to move aside because the singer was unable to get into the car.

The incident happened shortly after Malik performed in Manchester on May 24, following the launch of his Konnakol tour in London. The tour comes after the singer previously canceled planned U.S. dates due to a health issue that required hospitalization.

In a message shared with fans on Instagram, Malik thanked supporters for their concern and encouragement during his recovery, saying he had been resting at home and was feeling stronger. He also explained that he adjusted his tour schedule to focus on his health while still performing for as many fans as possible.

His tour is set to continue in June with performances in Mexico before heading to South America later in October.
