The couple, first romantically linked in January 2024 after being seen together at the afterparty of the Masters of the Air London premiere, kept fans guessing for months. Sharp-eyed followers noticed Lipa wearing a glittering ring on her Instagram posts, but it wasn’t until her June 12 interview with British Vogue that she officially confirmed: “Yes, we’re engaged,” she shared, adding, “It’s incredibly exciting.”
In the same conversation, Lipa opened up about how their romance began. Their first meeting happened by chance at The River Cafe in London, introduced by the restaurant’s co-founder. A year later, Turner coincidentally walked into a restaurant in Los Angeles where Lipa was dining. She instantly remembered him as “that really hot guy from The River Cafe.”
Their connection deepened quickly, especially after realizing they were both reading the same book — a sign, Lipa said, that made her believe they were “absolutely meant to be.”

Speculation around their engagement picked up in December 2024 after Lipa shared a Christmas Eve photo carousel on Instagram, subtly showcasing a ring on her left hand.
