Appearing as a guest on the Wednesday, Nov. 6 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, the singer, 35, opened up about how his son Jason King, 3, previews his new music before he releases it.

“Yeah, he’s the new A&R,” Derulo joked.

The “Slow Low” singer — who shares his son with model Jena Frumes – added, “Sometimes you gotta let your kids do the work because they don’t know how to lie yet, so they going to keep it real.”
