“I’m truly looking forward to it,” Joe shares with PEOPLE about going back on tour with his brothers Nick and Kevin, as their band marks two decades together.

Joe Jonas is building anticipation for a major new chapter in the Jonas Brothers’ journey.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the 35-year-old singer revealed that their upcoming tour will offer fans a fresh experience unlike any of their previous tours. Alongside brothers Nick and Kevin, Joe will hit the road for the Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour, kicking off August 10 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey—their home state.

“We want to give fans the best possible show every night,” Joe said, emphasizing the group’s excitement to still be performing together two decades in. “We’re really just enjoying the ride and aiming to offer something new and exciting each night.”

The tour, which continues through November, will also promote the band’s forthcoming seventh studio album, Greetings from Your Hometown, set to release on August 8.

Looking back on two decades in the music industry, Joe Jonas says he’s both grateful and energized to still be pursuing his passion after all these years.

“Being 20 years in and still able to do what we love—it’s incredible,” Joe shared. “Having fans who continue to support us, come to our shows, and engage with our new music is exactly what drives us to keep going. Every day I wake up excited to do what I love, and that’s something I don’t take for granted.”

Kevin Jonas, 37, also reflected on the milestone in a separate interview with PEOPLE in May, expressing awe at the band’s enduring connection with fans.

“It’s pretty surreal to realize we’ve been part of people’s lives for this long,” Kevin said. “What’s amazing is that it still feels fresh.”

He added that the band has been carefully crafting the tour’s setlist to balance longtime favorites with more recent hits. “We’re always having conversations about the setlist,” he noted. “We’ve been shaping the whole experience—what we want the show to sound and feel like. It’s not just about celebrating 20 years of the band; it’s a tribute to the fans who’ve stayed with us throughout the journey.”
