The documentary will premiere on Prime Video on October 31.

Megan Thee Stallion is set to be the focus of a new documentary, and it’s arriving soon. On October 14, the Houston-born rapper revealed the poster and release date for her upcoming film, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Eyes, produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Directed by Nneka Onuorah, who won a 2022 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Directing for her work on Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, the documentary promises an “unprecedented” glimpse into Megan’s life. It will follow her rise to fame, exploring how she navigates stardom, grief, pressure, and success, while revealing some of her most vulnerable moments, allowing viewers to get to know the real Megan Pete.

Megan Thee Stallion took to her official Instagram account to share the documentary’s poster, announcing, “Hotties, my documentary is out Oct 31st 💜 I’m nervous and excited for y’all to see it, but it’s finally here.”

The 29-year-old rapper’s full-length documentary follows the release of her third studio album, MEGAN. After parting ways with her previous labels, 1501 Entertainment and 300 Entertainment, in 2023, Megan launched the album under her new independent label, Hot Girl Productions.

The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and featured a trio of reptile-themed singles: “Cobra,” “Hiss,” and “Boa,” along with a bilingual track, “Mamushi,” featuring Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba. To support the album, Megan embarked on a North American tour, with Erica Banks and GloRilla as opening acts.

She also secured a partnership with Pepsi for the 2024-2025 NFL season, highlighted by a star-studded commercial featuring Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs player expressed his enthusiasm in a TikTok video, saying, “I’m so grateful to Pepsi for asking me to be a part of it. Just getting the thumbs up that I could handle the load of being a gladiator, I guess.”
