Michelle Pfeiffer posed for a photo with Bruno Mars, the singer of “24K Magic,” after he mentioned her in his 2014 collaboration with Mark Ronson.

Bruno Mars and Michelle Pfeiffer appear to have developed a friendship years after Pfeiffer was referenced in the music of the “24K Magic” singer.

In 2014, Bruno Mars, along with DJ and producer Mark Ronson, released the hit song “Uptown Funk” from Ronson’s Uptown Special album. In the song, Mars included a line that pays tribute to Pfeiffer, singing, “This hit, that ice cold / Michelle Pfeiffer, that white gold.”

During her interview with Graham Norton, Michelle Pfeiffer revealed that hearing her name in “Uptown Funk” could be a bit embarrassing, especially when listening with her kids in the car or during exercise class. She described her son’s reaction of rolling his eyes when the song played, but despite the embarrassment, she expressed her love for the song.

Pfeiffer recently starred in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” (2023) alongside Paul Rudd and Kathryn Newton. Her next project is the holiday comedy film “Oh. What. Fun,” directed by Michael Showalter and produced by Amazon MGM. The film also features Chloë Grace Moretz, Felicity Jones, and Dominic Sessa.

On the other hand, Bruno Mars is preparing for his upcoming Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM, with shows scheduled from June 7 to September 1.

Regarding recent news about Mars’ alleged gambling debt to MGM, MGM Resorts International denied these claims in response to reports, expressing pride in their association with Bruno Mars and highlighting his popular performances at Dolby Live at Park MGM and the new Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio.
