“The 2026 class of inductees also features Timothée Chalamet, Demi Moore, Stanley Tucci, among others.”

“Get ready to celebrate, Miley Cyrus fans! The pop icon just got some thrilling news.

On Wednesday, July 2, it was officially announced at a press event that the 32-year-old ‘Flowers’ singer is among the 2026 inductees set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Cyrus took to Instagram soon after to share her excitement, posting a clip from her latest music video ‘Walk of Fame’ and writing: ‘It’s such an honor to be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. When I was a little girl coming to LA from Nashville, my family would stay in a hotel on Hollywood Boulevard, and my dad and I used to go on late night walks when no one recognized him.'”

“We used to have those souvenir shops all to ourselves,” Miley Cyrus reminisced, describing how she and her father would browse for imitation Oscars and Marilyn Monroe trinkets during quiet nighttime strolls on Hollywood Boulevard. “To now have a permanent place among the stars on this iconic street—alongside the legends who shaped my journey—feels completely surreal.”

Cyrus ended her post with heartfelt gratitude: “This is a moment I’ll carry with me forever. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here. This star belongs to all of us.”

She is one of several big names selected for the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s 2026 class, which also includes Josh Groban, Gordon Ramsay, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Demi Moore, Stanley Tucci, and Shaquille O’Neal.

The announcement follows the premiere of Cyrus’ latest film Something Beautiful at the Tribeca Festival, released alongside an album of the same name. This new project continues her prolific musical path, which includes Endless Summer Vacation (2023), Plastic Hearts (2020), Younger Now (2017), Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (2015), Bangerz (2013), Can’t Be Tamed (2010), Breakout (2008), and Meet Miley Cyrus (2007).

The Walk of Fame honor also comes nearly a year after Cyrus was named a Disney Legend during the 2024 D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. Appearing visibly moved onstage, she reflected on her early career breakthrough, recalling how landing the role of Hannah Montana gave her a glimpse of the life she’d long dreamed of.

“From that moment on, I knew I didn’t want anything else,” she told the crowd. “I’m still incredibly proud to have been Hannah Montana.”

Cyrus closed with a message to the fans and collaborators who have supported her over the years: “This award is for Hannah, for everyone who believed in me, and for making my dream come true. Or in her words: ‘This is the life.’”
