Paris Hilton Sifts Through Damaged Belongings, Including Chanel Jewelry, After Trailer Catches Fire During Music Video Shoot

No one was injured when an accidental fire erupted on Friday, August 16, during Hilton’s music video shoot for her song “Bad Bitch Academy.”
Paris Hilton has shared some of the aftermath from the recent trailer fire. On Monday, August 19, the 43-year-old DJ and heiress posted a video showing the damage done to her belongings after an accidental fire broke out on the set of her music video for the song “Bad Bitch Academy” on Friday.
“So I’m just looking through everything now that made it through the fire,” Hilton said in the video, showing her burnt possessions laid out on a pink table. “I have my Infinite Icon stickers.”
She then showed her Chanel jewelry, noting, “Chanel, this one actually is not bad.”
Moving on to more damaged items, she pointed out, “The Sliv gloves. We have some Chanel pearls, which are all burnt. Melted.”
Hilton also mentioned, “All this new jewelry, I just got from Lara Heems,” before showing what appeared to be sparkly skirts.
“These, I’m so sad about. Custom costumes from Michael Schmidt. So gorgeous,” Hilton lamented, referring to the outfits. “He made these with Swarovski crystal material. All burnt. My Motorola Razrs are pretty intact. I don’t know if they still work, but maybe.”
Hilton then explained that her Pop & Suki bag had protected the phones, and she also showed her old pink flip phone from 2000 and her journal.
“These are the items that survived the fire that broke out in my trailer during the #BadBitchAcademy music video shoot 💔,” Hilton wrote in her caption. “Everything else was completely melted and burned to ashes 😣. Each of these pieces holds so many incredible memories, all connected to this amazing journey of creating the best music video we can for you all!”
She continued, “I’m incredibly grateful that no one was hurt during this incident 🙏🏼💖. While I’m heartbroken and still coming to terms with everything, this won’t stop me and my team✨ Stay tuned for a different kind of fire #InfiniteIcon 😉🔥 and check out the full video on my TikTok!”
Hilton first announced the fire on Friday, August 16, reassuring everyone that no one was injured in the blaze. She expressed gratitude to her team, including music video director Hannah Lux Davis, as well as collaborators Lance Bass, Meghan Trainor, and Heidi Klum.
The following day, on August 17, The Simple Life star shared footage of her charred trailer. The video revealed the vehicle’s interior completely destroyed, with even part of the roof missing.
“This is insane,” she said as she walked through the wreckage. “Smells so bad.”
Her mother, Kathy Hilton, commented on the post, saying, “OMG!!!!!! Thank God everyone is safe. I’m so sorry.🙏🙏🙏💔💔💔💔💔.”
Aunt Kyle Richards added, “So glad you’re safe.”
