Shawn Mendes is hitting the road!
On Thursday, May 29, the Canadian singer-songwriter, 26, announced his upcoming On the Road Again Tour, set to celebrate 10 years since his debut album, Handwritten, later this year with dates in Europe and North America.
“I feel like time away has allowed me to come back and recognize and remember how unbelievably special it is to get to play live shows,” said Mendes in a statement about the tour. “It’s an honor and I’m just beyond grateful that you guys keep showing up after 10 years with so much love.”
Starting on August 2 at the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, Kosovo, the tour will travel through major cities such as London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Munich, Boston, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Vancouver, and San Francisco, before concluding on October 17 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Joining Mendes on the European leg of the tour are MARO and Lubiana, while Eddie Benjamin will open for the North American shows. “I discovered MARO’s music a few years back and instantly became a huge fan,” Mendes said. “Honestly, I can’t believe she’s joining us on tour.”
He added, “Lubiana is equally incredible—she completely amazes me and represents everything I value in an artist. And I’m especially thrilled that Eddie, who’s not only incredibly talented but also one of the most genuine people I know, will be part of the North American leg.”
Fans can access tickets through a series of presales beginning June 4, with general ticket sales opening on June 6 at 10 a.m. local time. Full details are available on Mendes’ official website.
The On the Road Again Tour follows the release of Mendes’ most recent album, Shawn, which debuted in November 2024.
