Taylor Swift’s celebrity circle — including the Haim sisters and Sombr — were spotted exiting a Los Angeles restaurant carrying loaves of her homemade sourdough.

Taylor Swift’s star-studded inner circle may not have been quite prepared for her latest baked surprise.

While enjoying a night out in Los Angeles on Friday, Jan. 9, the 36-year-old singer appeared to present her friends — including Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim, along with Sombr — with thoughtfully packaged loaves of homemade sourdough. Each loaf featured one of Swift’s recognizable handwritten tags.

Photos captured the Haim sisters and the “Back to Friends” artist departing the Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood, each carrying a wrapped loaf as they exited the restaurant.

Swift has previously spoken openly about her passion for baking, particularly bread. During an appearance on the New Heights podcast in August 2025 — hosted by her fiancé Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce — she shared that after wrapping up her record-breaking Eras Tour, she found herself spending much more time experimenting in the kitchen.

She joked that her interests feel reminiscent of another century, saying her hobbies could easily belong in the 1700s. Swift added that her love for sourdough had become all-consuming.

According to the singer, bread now dominates a large portion of her conversations, as she is constantly baking and asking friends for their opinions. She explained that she often texts friends offering samples and seeking feedback on changes to her baking process, from fermentation to rising techniques.

Her bread gifts have made appearances beyond this recent outing. In July 2025, Selena Gomez shared an Instagram Stories photo showing a basket of fresh bread and a Le Labo candle Swift had gifted her for her 33rd birthday. The loaf came with a handwritten note addressed to Gomez and her then-fiancé Benny Blanco, complete with one of Swift’s trademark wordplays referencing sourdough.

A few months later, Swift extended her baking generosity to BBC Radio 1 host Greg James during an October interview, presenting him with a loaf she described as lemon blueberry-flavored.

As expected, the packaging featured another playful pun — which James read aloud — prompting Swift to explain that she believes the more groan-worthy the bread jokes are, the better they become.
