Taylor Swift is showcasing her style in denim! The 33-year-old “Look What You Made Me Do” artist marked her monumental achievement at the MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday by gracing the Ned NoMad afterparty in New York City. She was donned in an EB denim polka dot dress, elegantly paired with silver glitter platform heels. Adding to her charm, Swift adorned herself with multiple gold necklaces, a combination of silver and gold wrist bangles, and a chic updo featuring a full fringe.
The songstress’s presence at the afterparty followed her impressive triumph at the MTV VMAs, where she triumphed in nine out of her 11 nominations, including the coveted Video of the Year award.
Swift has etched her name in history, becoming the inaugural individual to clinch the Video of the Year accolade four times. She achieved this milestone with her track “Anti-Hero” during Tuesday night’s event at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. As a result, Swift now boasts a remarkable total of 23 VMAs to her credit.
Expressing her astonishment in her acceptance speech, Swift began, “I’m genuinely in awe right now. The significance of this award, which is determined by the fans’ votes, holds immense value for me, especially considering the incredible memories we’ve recently created together.”
She also shared, “I’ve recently embarked on a tour that has been an absolute source of joy and excitement.” This tour, known as the Eras Tour, commenced in March and is set to continue until November 23, 2024.
She continued, “And the best part is, we’re not even halfway through this incredible journey. Over the past year, it truly has felt like the adventure of a lifetime. It’s astonishing to think that it was just a year ago, during the VMAs, when I revealed the Midnights album. Tonight, all I want to express is my heartfelt gratitude. I am utterly amazed and thankful. To all my fans, I cherish you deeply. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
