The incident occurred when she collapsed during dinner with friends in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night. TMZ reported that her collapse was preceded by a quickened heartbeat, and she remained unconscious for a significant period.

Her friends promptly took her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for medical attention, where doctors discovered blood clots in her lungs and legs. Sources close to the situation have revealed that her condition is extremely serious, with Tori Kelly reportedly experiencing periods of consciousness and unconsciousness during her hospitalization.


Kelly’s representative has not yet provided a response to PEOPLE’s request for comment regarding her hospitalization.

In recent news, the singer-songwriter released her first solo single in nearly three years, titled “Missin u.”
